3 prompts english 8

prompt 1- is family the most important thing? i Agree

I think family is the most important thing because familys are always there for you. family is what moulds you to be what you are in life. If you didn't have family then you would not feel complete. for example family is there you're whole life. Also when kids don't have family or have an abusive family then they impact that childs life. Even if you do not have the greatest family they still impact you're life and make you who you are.

prompt 2- is sometimes winning the lotery a bad thing? i Agree

i think that it can turnout to be a bad thing because people get more money then they have ever had. sometimes it can make people turn bad or they can get debt problems. when people ge a lot of money they feel a need to spend it excesevily to a point of they'v spent more then they have. then this would put the person in a worse situation then they were in.of course winning it is very awesome but it can hurt you in many ways. i think most people would be better off just sticking to their normal lives and routines and go about life the way they have been doing.

prompt 3- our lives are ruled by fate, no matter what decissions we take, our lives are already planned for us. I disagree

i disagree because i think people are destined for certain things like they were given the mindset or physical ability to do something specefiacally for them. but i dont think whatever decision we make is controlled and wil lead to a certain thing. i dont think whatever decision or whatever thing we do wil lead us to a certain point in our lives. i think that we choose what our life comes to by making tough decisions and our life is an unwritten story or something. we dont know what will happen but it is upt o us what will happen not some already plannedout thing by someone or something.

response to Haiti

Response

In the podcast they discussed the efforts being made to help Haiti in their struggle against this quake. What needs to be done is more tasks forces and more aid needs to be given. I also think a lot of countries need to start donating a lot of money to help Haiti with medical support and food. Before this earth quake happened Haiti this country was hell living in horrible conditions they couldn’t feed the population without aid from other countries leaving many children and family’s struggling to survive with hunger. Also the people of Haiti now have absolutely nothing whatever they had for a house is gone they have absolutely no money and no jobs. Haiti might never rebound from this devastating quake but they also have a chance to maybe not on our lifetime but they could bounce back. But it will take a lot of togetherness in the people of Haiti for it to bounce back from this devastating event. Now I think younger people could make an impact because I think that now that they have seen the disasters inflicted on this country they can take it in and if Haiti Is ever able to come back from this tragedy I think they can try to make a difference so they can learn from these experiences and become a well developed economy and country. Sure it will take some time and effort and patience but if they are committed and the rest of their country is to saving themselves I think they can be able to do it. But I think in good time the people will try to rebuild their houses out of the rubble and trot along like they have for recent years. I think though more aid needs to go out to the people who need it and they can’t just be expected to live like they used to barely being able to feed their own people if they do I think that there won’t be much hope left for this country. Those are my views on the disaster on Haiti.

Our house is destroyed! We have nothing left to our name. our house is nothing but rubble. When the earthquake happened there was so much confusion so many not knowing what was going on, some were to late and rubble crashed all over them and many died. Including some of my siblings. I haven’t heard from any friends for days and I am worried sick. Me and my family struggle for the very limited rations that our distributed among our people. We have nowhere to go we camp out here in a park with tons of other people. We have to search the streets and wander for hours looking for some fresh water or food to eat. Also having a big family it is hard just to feed one of us. What little money we had is gone. The job where my dad made his money is gone also. We be damned here among all our people not being able to get the care we need. Many are also dead many who could not be saved. I am very nervous to see if any of my friends live through this mess and if they be around here somewhere. I am yet to know if anyone I know lives right now. But every night I have to hear the screams and howls of hungry, sick and injured people of my country. It pains me so, it pains me that our country has gotten in a worse state then we were left off in. but I know that all we can do is be strong and hope for a miracle and maybe our people change in many ways so we can rebound from this. But I know we will band together in the mess that faces us and I will look toward god to bless our blinded paths so we will not fall before this disaster. All I fear for is my family and there welfare and how if they can survive. I am not even sure if all my siblings have lived trough all this I have only found my brother and father and sister. I hope to find more. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=122556026

Persuasive essay

Do you want all the breaks or to be another lowlife thug!?!? Be a soc. Us soc’s have all the breaks, we can do whatever we want and get away with it. We can do whatever we want whenever we want, we can have party’s, throw beer blasts, and even take out my boat. Not to mention we got the best looken babes in town!!
Most of them are cheerleaders, don’t bother with those greasy girls. They are all trashy tramps and look like grease monkey men. Also we got anything you can want or need. We got mustang’s corvette’s, not to mention we have all the clothes we want like madras. We got the best rep in town and no matter what we do we’ll always look good in school or just the public.
Now that you see that we get all the breaks and we run things around here that we are the top dogs here. Besides would you want to hangout with a bunch of kids who can barely afford to go into a drive in movie, and are dropouts? The point is do you wanna be a bottom dweller or at the top along with all of us? Be a soc if you want it all! Your main man Brenden.
